about scarlett & grace…
Erin’s love affair with flowers began when she was 8 years old… cutting blossoms from her backyard to create arrangements to surprise her (sometimes) patient mother. She started officially working with petals and stems when she was 15 years old…and for the past 18 years she and flowers have never spent a day apart. Needless to say, flowers are her first love…
Erin studied art and design, concentrating on painting and mixed media, at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (while working at a local floral shop) and spent some time traveling abroad before she returned home to focus on wedding and event décor – working and really blossoming (pun intended) as a floral designer. Erin loves meeting with clients and transforming their style into something they’ve never even imagined.
Scarlett & Grace believes in learning and growing every step along the way of this flower journey. Erin takes workshops every chance she gets, from flower goddesses all over the world, Ariella Chezar, Sarah Ryhanen of Saipua, Holly Heider Chapple, Sarah Winward, Ariel Dearie, Robbie Honey, and Nancy Liu Chin to name a few. This keeps the inspiration flowing and allows little tips and tricks of the trade to be exchanged. We will never stop growing, learning, and sharing in the love of flowers!

“From the very beginning you were extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We were amazed and inspired by your ideas and passion to help capture our perfect wedding. From a simple picture we cut from a magazine you took that and did so much more! Your talent and personality allowed us to fully trust in you- and we are so glad we did… Everyone was commenting on how beautiful the flowers were. Even the photographer said that the bouquet was gorgeous, the prettiest she had ever seen!” … Rebecca

“When planning a large wedding, it got overwhelming during the planning stages. When working with multiple vendors, communication and trust is key. I can honestly say Erin from Scarlett & Grace was very professional and displayed great communication for an overbearing bride like myself. I had a few specifics I wanted for my flowers and put my full trust in her skills. I could never have planned the flowers or created such lovely works of art that displayed to all of our guests and photographed beautifully in our bridal party photos. She exceeded my expectation and I continue to recommend her for any event.” … Alejandra

“Erin is an incredibly talented and creative florist. I entrusted her completely with my wedding flowers by giving her creative reign and only requesting a color scheme. She absolutely surpassed my expectations. The flowers were the perfect match for my intimate wine country wedding! Erin’s eye for detail is amazing! “Erin and I hit it off right from the start, even though we didn’t meet in person until my wedding day! I was planning my Sacramento wedding while living on the east coast in New York City. Erin and I had a couple of great phone calls to discuss my ideas and vision for the flowers. I put everything I liked on Pinterest and she asked about colors, structure, and types of flowers. She really understood what I was going for and I immediately felt confident that she would create something amazing. And she did! On the wedding day I was blown away. The flowers, color combinations, and arrangements were so much more beautiful than I could have imagined. Erin is a true artist with an eye for beautiful and impactful pieces. She wove personal details into my bridal bouquet which made it even more special. The flowers were absolutely perfect and contributed to our very special day!” … Lisa
